Then why extend the tax cut, and why spend $1T on the military? = "we are unable and generally unwilling to police and solve our own damn problems," We're certainly able; we're just unwilling. For instance, we're willing to force women to give birth, but we're not willing to help out once the kid is born; cut food stamps, cut child care, cut pre-school, cut Medicaid, cut taxes for the rich and corporations.
