My guess is there are many more independents than I'm aware of but cannot guess quality or value, etc. Just that I cannot read Mandarin and my spoken is broken at best, haha, so wouldn't even know where to look for an early lead not being in the industry. Try to report them as observed. The Behrens is likely on the higher end of the Shenzhen manufacture base but think there are already a bunch of those and can see on aliexpress and even more local platforms. Before didn't mean to conflate the Behrens with selling components to the Europeans. Meant more the concentration of precision machinery and tooling available there. So company A might order the sapphire crystal from there. Then company B will order a milled titanium case from another company. Then company C orders a finely milled and toothed crown from a third company. Three different orders from three three different companies delivered. That's how it was explained to me from an insider, how three separate European watch brands might use Shenzhen area manufacturing in their supply chains. fwiw.
