BY JOHN HINDERAKER IN THE WEEK IN PICTURES THE WEEK IN PICTURES: AGONY OF DEFEAT EDITION It was a rather blah week, with news stories mostly carryovers from the past. Budget cutting was in the news, a slap was heard around the world, and the Trump administration did battle on many fronts, against Harvard among others. There was no obvious theme for this week, so I selected something local and parochial. One meme, near the end, embodies the theme. Sports fans will understand.
