Steve Cortes went from being a senior advisor to the Trump 2020 campaign to rubbing up with Matthew Tyrmand to defeat Trump in 2024.

Here he is yucking it up with Tyrmand and John Cardillo.
They come on about the 20 minute mark.

...The video and associated statements come as O’Keefe remains in a legal and public dispute with Matthew Tyrmand, a board member at Project Veritas, the organization O’Keefe founded and from which he was removed in 2023.

O’Keefe has accused Tyrmand of leading the effort to oust him and has publicly accused him of harassment and misconduct.

“This is Matthew Tyrmand. He is the board member who fired me from Project Veritas. While few may know who he is, that’s about to change soon,” O’Keefe posted.

He continued, “We’ve obtained new evidence about what happened. He knows what he did. That’s why he sends pornographic, unhinged messages to me on a weekly basis. That’s why one message was a picture of me nailed to a Crucifix. That’s why he posted private medical records and intimate texts of employees’ loved ones who he wanted to harm.”

O’Keefe alleged that these messages were obtained from employee devices and that Tyrmand is now under subpoena.

“This man is afraid because he has been subpoenaed. He has much to hide. He will be brought to justice, so help me God. Stay tuned,” O’Keefe added.

Project Veritas has not issued a public response to O’Keefe’s latest claims as of Thursday morning.

O’Keefe Media Group, his new platform launched following his departure from Project Veritas, has continued to publish content focused on government transparency, media ethics, and accountability.

His latest warning has drawn widespread attention across social media platforms, with speculation growing over the scope and nature of the information he plans to release.

No additional information about the pending report has been officially confirmed.
