"To the shorts I would suggest "Beware the Ides of March." This stock is going to take
on a new life in the near future."

may I add......

Fear is the interest payment on trouble coming due.

As the stock is transferred to accounts today, simplifying profit-taking for individuals, there'll be a flurry of selling that should poop out fairly fast. The past couple of weeks trading has looked as good as it gets and certainly indicates more of the same to come.
Re shorts, I'd guess that trading houses (which don't have to borrow stock) account for most of the shorts, so they're not going to be squeezed, I think, by being forced to close positions. They'll have to volunteer for it. Isn't the Nasdaq swell?
