What's surprisingly missing in this extensive proposal is Trump's pledge to remove the tax on Social Security benefits. In its stead is a measure that would add $4,000 to the standard deduction for seniors aged 65 and older, or $8,000 for couples filing jointly. However, this additional deduction is only available to individuals and couples with respective modified adjusted gross incomes up to $75,000 and $150,000.

It will bring some SS recipients out of the tax brackets with this raised deduction. Trump is pretty smart and informed, so that's probably his dodge on his claim about Social Security taxes. But maybe he doesn't know.

Bannon didn't think Trump knew about Ukraine's latest strike inside Russia before it happened and maybe for a short time afterward when he was saying Putin was acting crazy.

Time to start cleaning house if his people aren't informing him.
