If, on the other hand, their primary task is to create shareholder value by maximizing sales and earnings, then making important product releases and other announcements at the annual trade show (where your customers are attending) just may be the better choice. -JLF>>

You are probably right, Jim. I have no interest in "short-term hype", either. My comment is as an observer and user of the information. Frequently, many concurrent releases are viewed as hype, simply because of their volume ("we'll make up with quantity what is missing in quality"). Also, I think readers tend to pay less attention to the details when there is a strafing of releases. As you point out, this is the trade show and this is how it's done. Thanks for your reply. ...Tim
