Allan, Yes, you have given Tom's formula for it. But Michael Burke, in his The All New Guide to the Three-Point Reversal Method of Point and Figure Construction and Formations, 3rd edition, (c)1993, Chartcraft Inc., page 105 states: Formula for upside P.O.: Count the number of X's to the right of low point, multiply that result by the box size and multiply again by 3. Add result to low* for price objective.* So, depending on who's 'classic P&F work' you are going by, either one of you is right..... Ben A.
