Low beta and negative beta have saved my portfolio in down markets. However, in very severe down markets, nothing works except being short. I am not a fan of bonds. International has a very nice place in my portfolio., multiples are far cheaper than most US Stocks. Dr. Copper is saying no recession on the horizon for now.

There are great opportunities in US markets, stocks that have already crashed well over 50%, such as ANF and UPBD that have bottomed out after gruesome declines and are now showing very impulsive action to the upside. No need to chase or play the momentum game. I don't search for winners. I am beginning to search for stocks that are big losers with good businesses that have stopped going down and are turning up with insider buying. Get in on the ground floor and wait for others to recognize what is going on.
