Rocky: Great article. Great quotes:

techweb.com

"Today, SyQuest [SYQT] trades in the $2 to $3 a share range and is barely noticed on Wall Street."

"Wall Street had lost so much interest in the company that it didn't even bother making its usual earnings predictions."

"SyQuest's losses can summed up in a word: Iomega."

"SyQuest's plunge has been caused mostly by the drubbing it has received at the hands of Iomega's Zip drive, the lowering of prices that led to negative gross margins, and the misguided strategy of former management to think it could enter the consumer market."

"Iomega came in and essentially ate their lunch"

>>One really can't apply the term "value" to the Jazz line<<

Jazz may not be the best value (if you don't count compatibility) but it is profitable and that's probably why one really can't apply the term "value" to SyQuest stock.
