TO All:

As a fundamentalist who uses technicals, IMO there is only one pure and dependable technical indicator: Price/Volume. All else is either
suspect or subjective. On a lonely day such as today, just before the EPS report, when it may seem wise not to declare oneself or just hedge, PRICE/VOLUME is the ONLY dependable friend! As I type, NOVL is struggling to go topside, it is near but has not done yet. For my money, it will have today and tomorrow do it! Failure to go topside will most probably be followed to the downside and the doldrums of cheap dirt...<G>

For this humble investor, once again (remeber my 7 area call), the LINE has been drawn: Perform or lose me! Simply put; bad numbers and I'll be gone-happily!

So much for my plans, how about my read of the action?
P/V looks very promising (Thanks for the markets being
down and making the read easier!)

The volume is heavy.
Price shows volitality--great indicator.
Block trades show accumulation.
Buying pressure is to the up side.
U/D and OBV are rising.

HOWEVER, the TREND remains DOWN.

And as you know, no stock can go up significantly if it is in down trend! <GGG> And until have have a trend change: We DO NOT have a turn-around and a potential big winner.

I have not had the time to check the option activity, is anyone into it? Please post.

Finally, I think P/V is telling us the numbers are going to be at least OK and perhaps good.

Having chosen to stick my neck out to be chopped, I wish you all well.

FWIW,

Seren.
