I blame Bibi and his rabid followers. He has done nothing to help the PA, he just alienates more and more of them. And Mirengoff is an ass, has been a Republican shill for many years, he used to blog at Powerline and then "went off the reservation" even for them with his silly rhetoric. He is a "we'll kill all the bad guys and then we'll have peace with the others" kind of guy, as though the "bad guys" are intrinsically bad and there are no other reasons for them to exist, the "good guys" never did anything to them, no policies were inherently unfair. He was all gungho for the Iraq invasion and then was outraged when the Shia didn't respond with obsequious gratitude.
