Slavery was a degradation of black people. Hamas is a terrorist organization. I don't see the comparison as being apt with gay marriage, which hurts no one and does not disrespect anyone. Of course, there are always going to be people whose values are going to be offended. But I see no disrespect or terrorist act in gay marriage or smoking a joint.

I am not arguing that people should become gay and get married. I am passively supportive and neutral on the issue. It is not my choice to tell other people who they should be attracted to. Socrates, Plato and Aristotle were gay and brilliant. Socrates was also married and had a family. Again, I am not here to judge. Some people are attracted to the same sex. That is their choice. I see nothing wrong with it.

That is my attitude to other religions also. I support them all with the exception of radical Islam, which is a death cult and not a religion. Islam seeks to destroy other religions so I oppose it. We use to be friendly with this Jewish woman in Mesquite until she started viciously attacking this Jewish guy for wearing a cross. I attacked her ( with words) and told her that I believe in freedom of religion and that every person has the right to change their religious affiliation. That kind of thing I also passively support and remain neutral in regard to it. I believe in individual freedom and people's right to choose or change their religion. I don't have to agree with their choice in order to support it.
