I had a lot more risk tolerance in 2009 when BTFD emerged. However, valuations are off to the sky since then. Swing trading is a skill, it’s not day trading but is still trading. This means it requires good entry and exit. I missed the good entry, I see current levels as potentially stalling the rally as the markets roll over into another Tariff scare low
on 7/9. Yes, I have started the coming US dollar crisis on SI, which expected USA to eventually face sovereign debt issues. I believe “the dollar crisis” has arrived. A currency crisis is extremely bearish for that country’s assets. In fact, we are seeing Spx rise merely as a function of declining US dollar.

Examples are plentiful, Iceland, Greece, and Italy in 2008. SE Asia and South Korea in 1997, etc. equity market usually suffers an earth-shattering decline. I am looking for protection, not for speculation. Gold and silver skying are a bearish signal.
