"claiming that LA would be 'burning to the ground'"

LA isn't burning to the ground. When it was, back in Jan, Newsom activated the Guard. I haven't seen anything new since I saw 4 (too many) cars burning, but there are millions of cars, so it's barely a rounding error. Those cars are burning because Trump activated the Guard.

When you have a protest, anybody can show up, including people from opposing sides who want to make trouble. During George Floyd, the Right was startling a lot of the trouble. In the Bay Area, and prolly LA, the black bloc anarchists can be counted on to start trouble.
