Sharkie and all, I'm not so big on the "Who escalated it?" debate.

Ultimately it's all about resistance to Trump's efforts at mass deportation.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Trump will not tolerate any dissent whatsoever, and it shouldn't surprise anyone that the Mexican flag-waving protesters will go to extreme lengths to express their anger.

These two chemical compounds, when mixed together, WILL cause an explosion. Doesn't matter who "escalated" it first, because both sides have a vested interest in escalation.

Personally I think the side whose families, livelihoods, and communities are at stake here will win out over the side who wants to open fire on poor people at the whim of a rich and corrupt narcissist.

It's all about conviction vs. TACO.
