I also take into account that this was a private company for a long time. Having owned several successful businesses in the past, I know that, often, private companies who have gone public STILL do not like having to divulge information which used to be kept private.

Firamada is certainly inept in certain ways. Unfortunately, one of them is in the area of PR.
