To Mike and John:

When my family and I lived in Sonoma County--my job involved much travel. Often to unwind from a business trip, my family and I would drive over to the coast and always head north after a stop in Bodega Bay, hoping to see Tippi Hedren. Then moving north to Mendocino, thinking we might see Angela Lansbury. We never saw her, but we did stay in the Inn that was shown at the opening of her TV show.
On the way home a stop in Willits was a must. For horse lovers and if you read the books about 'Seabiscuit." the famous racehorse, the owner buried him in a grove of redwoods near where his son had died in a freak accident.

I have driven HWY-1 from the Oregon board to the furthest most end of the highway in San Diego. I recently read that HWY-1 is not open from Big Sur southward.

The two of you live in a beautiful paradise that has much serenity and beauty all around you. If I win the Texas lottery, my wife and I would move back to California.
