BG +7.23% and even ADM +4.6% benefiting from the Biofuel news

ANDE +2.16% may be benefiting too as they transport & store a lot of the corn grown in the mid-west that is used to produce ethanol

------------------------------------------------------

NG moving again today too

Devon Energy Corp (DVN) 35.15 +0.82 (+3.12 %) & Natural Gas ETF FT (FCG) 24.63 +0.53 (+2.20%) are two that I have been accumulating;

FCG +15% since my 1st Buy 4/30/2025 at $20.95 & DVN + 22% from my 1st Buy 4/14/2025 at $28.32

Got lucky w/ my timing but my Sell target is still higher: DVN +37% from this level to it's SMA(200) weekly at $48.75

FWIW have 6 small Buys in FCG and only 4 Buys of DVN

I continue to add to DVN still only 7x PE and pays a 3.64% div

RE: Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY)

The $10 billion deal is a sale of a single division (OxyChem), not a buyout of the entire Occidental Petroleum company

  • Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK.A, Financial) ( BRK.B, Financial) is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire Occidental Petroleum's ( OXY, Financial) petrochemical business for approximately $10 billion. This acquisition would mark Berkshire's largest deal since 2022, potentially expanding its footprint in the chemicals sector. Occidental has been divesting non-core assets to reduce debt, having repaid $7.5 billion as of August.
