Ok. So, now you know a good entry into SPX: Zweig Breadth Thrust.

There have been instances where the Zweig Breadth thrust was triggered and SPX went down initially 3-5 % before rebounding strongly over the intermediate and longer term. Sometimes the ZBT rallies right away. It has never failed as a signal over the intermediate and longer term. Long term is a year out. Returns are quite good if you hold.
