Iran had a lot of intercontinental ballistic missiles and they were not all intercepted. Unfortunately, there were a few hits, but Israel will survive and become stronger. Iran and Jihad Muslims talk big, but have little resistance. You have to stand up to evil, or you get crushed by evil. We had no choice.

Tenchu's Thoughts - The Timing of Trump's Birthday Parade Couldn't Have Been Any Worse The timing of Trump's egotistical parade couldn't have been any worse. First of all, the weather in D.C. was rainy. Reportedly that's why the parade had to start 30 minutes early. It might also be a contributing factor in how piss-poor attendance was. Second, the "No Kings" protest was probably one of the most successful protests in all of modern American history. The timing of it was obviously meant to coincide with Trump's parade, because the protest organizers wanted to co-opt the news coverage. And they succeeded beyond expectations. No violence except in a very small handful of incidents, so it was 99.999% peaceful. For a protest movement THIS large, achieving 99.999% peaceful status is a huge accomplishment. Third, the MAGA Christian nationalist who shot up the Democratic lawmakers took up a lot of headlines. The manhunt was underway by the time Trump's little $45M parade started, and people wanted to know when this asshole would be handcuffed. Thank God he was before he could continue his murderous crusade. And fourth, Israel started bombing the absolute shit out of Iran. Destabilizing an already unstable Middle East tends to take up a lot of attention from the media. When all was said and done, Trump's parade turned out to be #4 on the most newsworthy events that happened over the weekend. Of course the parade was sad. Soldiers were marching without any look of enthusiasm or lockstep discipline. That video of a squeaky Sherman tank rolling down the road is just shameful. And Trump's salute to the troops looked about as silly as Justin Hammer saluting his own military hardware in the movie Iron Man 2. But here's the most hilarious part about the parade. *No one cared about it.* That statement applies equally toward the MAGA faithful as well as the MAGA opponents. All because the timing of it was awful. All because we had more important issues that demanded our attention. Poor Trump, throwing a militaristic party for himself only to find that the only one having any fun there is himself. And I'm not even sure it was fun for him, either. Tenchusatsu
