Kenith, <Paul,... When were the last time you worked on wafers?>
It does not matter to him. Paul is the biggest authority
amongst Silicon Investors in every field here - investing
strategy (buy Intel!), OEM PC manufacturing and OEM pricing
(notebooks no differ from desktops to manufacture and price),
systems electronics (10-key and up to XT-keyboard), DRAM
logic (1102?), modern microprocessor architecture (8086?)
and bus designs, high-demanding software, and even games
(he plays "minesweeper" with his son on a $4000 Sony
notebook!). The 2um manufacturing is his best :-)

It is almost a heresy to ask this kind of question as
you did : )

BTW, I have suggested several times to him to share
less information from his past on this thread, to
reduce possible misconclusions for AMD investors, and
to avoid the kinds of question you asked, for himself.
He is not sensitive.

Ken - re: "spiking is not an issue."

You are correct - there a many technical solutions to the problem.

However, these technical solutions need to be implemented correctly.

Clearly, AMD is implementing something INCORRECTLY.

Re: "when were your last paycheck?"

Yesterday - I got a BIG ONE when Intel was up $2 1/2.
