Seeking Alpha had a summary of the BofA upgrade.

The $90 price target is based on ...... a 3.8x multiple on price to book.

Makes little sense, few tech IP companies trade based on price to book. They trade based on sales growth.

Whatever, I'll take it.

SIMO is well ahead of my expectations for the end of 2025 price. I was thinking it will definitely get to $75 by Q4, will probably get to $85 by Q4, and if the stars align wonderfully it may get to $95 by Q4.

I don't think there is any bad news between now and Dec, and lots of good stuff coming down the pike. The only thing that comes to mind that may keep the share price down by December 2025 is valuation, and valuation doesn't usually stop a tech stock price from going up.

Looking forward to the second half of the year. I've written a lot about the SIMO story recently on the SIMO thread. If anyone's interested in it have a look at the past 10-15 posts, the current story is in there somewhere.

Here's my summary -
