As to his management chops, just look at Tesla. It is non-functional when Musk is not in residence. A company of its size should be able to operate when a single individual is not there. But Tesla cannot. He is literally indispensable to the company. Without Elon, Tesla is dead as an automotive company.
Yep. Tesla needs a Tim Cook.

Combjelly, something is really wrong at SpaceX ...

One of the SpaceX fan cams caught a crane collapse at Starbase in Texas. This kind of thing only happens from a completely unacceptable safety culture failure and I'd be shocked if there wasn't a death here
