Thank you, Worswick, for your compliment. It is greatly valued. As a U. Chicago alum who only visited Cambridge briefly a couple of times, I always had a faint impression of Harvard as being composed of many very smug, self satisfied people. You have changed that image enormously with your posts. Reading them--and others on this thread--is a totally unexpected gift from the Web which I eagerly look forward to each day.

Your description of President Kim makes me think of him as a Tolstoyan hero (if such a man could be involved in politics at all). It moves me almost to tears to think of what this man has been through, and to think that he still has the strength to continue what can only promise to be a titanic struggle.
