Arnie, ROFLOL. Since knowledge in school is cyclical (retaught in the higher grades at higher cognitive levels) I can hear Johnny say in a few years:

"Teach. My parents accountant told them to wait until 22 is broken. His friend told him that decending triangles indicated that 22 wouldn't hold and that on May 21st, at 10:30 EST, this special (proprietary) machine he owns will give a signal that will only be heard by the annointed (true) believers. So, they didn't buy, waiting for the price to drop. Since Nextel is going to split for the sixth time next month, they want to know if they should buy it now at 88 3/4? They haven't heard from the accountant or the guy with that special machine in years."

Arnie,
<They've got some real smart teachers in the local schools in San Diego, don't you
think?>

Maybe Arnie, but we also have tenured math teachers who believe we should not punish our children with the Draconian discipline of memorizing their times tables in the fourth grade. These teachers are convinced the children will learn it when their ready. (Actually heard on of these morons on Roger Hedgecock's show). Kind of like learning that NXTL will be a good investment when it gets to $500-$1,000.

Sorry for the off topic.
