re by Historical Standards as when man first started planting grain, instead of harvesting it where he happened to find it... as when man first started using a horse to move from one location to another... as when man first built an automobile, a truck, a train and a tractor... as when man first built a steam ship and a jet plane... as when man discovered electricity... as when man first discovered disease mechanisms and vectors and developed vaccinations and other disease treatments... By historical standards, no one living at the time could possibly have imagined the impact or the extent of the change which would occur in society.
