Research Shows.....

If FAMH was like TPMI...and had a PM of 2% and a PE of 15. FAMH would still have a value of $0.60.

LE, is it hard for you to simply realize...FAMH is one of the leaders in the industry?!?

Jon

LE, I will! But not now. No, this isn't a cop out. I've been out since 8 am and just got in. The problem with finding companies to compare with Firamada, aside from the differences in business models/focuses, is the stage in their development as a company. The reason being is that although FAMH went public after being a private company, they expanded offices at the same time they went public. So, it is difficult to compare.

Also, many of the companies that you cited, although they are listed as temp staffing companies, franchise offices in which the corporate office handles the administrative duties of the franchise offices. It's kind of like McDonalds making money off of the burger wrappers. Only in this case, it is in essence, the corporate office leasing the franchise office's temp staffing. A second tier Employee lease if you will. I will do my research and post it here when completed.

ps. Not too unhappy about the news, not thrilled, but not too unhappy.
Jin.

The margins being discussed by Firamada are gross profit margins
not net profit margins. If you look at the financials presented in
Redhead's posting, the gross profit margin was almost 20%. This is
above the gross profit margins Ira mentioned in his CC today of
12-18%.

I'm new to this service and company's board. What doesn't make
sense to me is how the heck could they have made almost $.11
a share during 1997 with only $8.5 million in revenue?
