I sure hope that it is not a takeover." My guess is that it is speculators are jumping on AMD hoping that the yield problem has been solved. IMHO they are hoping it is and they want to get in before a upward swing. There is also a possibility that some information is starting to leak out of Fab 25. Though very remote it could explain this up turn. Then Then there is your assumption that a take over may be in the works.Any of these could be the reasons. Let just hope the price keeps going up.
