I understand. But the dems had other motives. Last time this happened a lot of Haitians went to Canada or scattered in the usa. None want to got to haiti.

You're arguing a straw man, Bill, all to justify Trump's crusade against LEGAL immigration. Nobody is arguing against the "temporary" nature of their legal status. Nobody is claiming that the Orange Monarch doesn't have the power to revoke that temporary status. But the question is WHY he's doing it, especially if by your admission these LEGAL immigrants didn't necessarily do anything wrong. Because I don't see any good reason to do just that. Do you?
