I think the reason politicians are so mechanical and stupid is that the entire planet is dumbing down. Probably, this is because of the information superhighway - where the traffic is for the most part crap and propaganda. In this sense, the globalists have won - the entire globe is hooked on being continuously brainwashed. So, being lazy may be a gift - at least, you get to think your own thoughts. I’m trying to spend less time online. This afternoon, took a swim - then, sat in the shade reading a novel. One of the more recent books by John Le Carre. The man was a good writer. Aurelien is an interesting writer. Quite likely, most of his insights are spot on. Still - hopefully - the pols will refrain from tossing nukes. Everything else our civilizations can survive.
