PM Mark Carney Elbows Up Seaspan Victoria Shipyards B.C. delivers HMCS Calgary back to Royal Canadian Navy

HMCS Calgary recently completed one of the most extensive and complex docking work periods ever undertaken at Victoria Shipyards. Over 28 months, more than 1,000 Seaspan employees collaborated to deliver a wide range of critical maintenance and upgrades—ensuring the Halifax-class frigate continues to be operationally available and relevant for missions ahead.

With the vessel now returned to the Royal Canadian Navy, we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look into this milestone project.
