I appreciate your comments and I agree SYSF is a $12 stock on its worse day. I bought in again at 3.50 and I am enjoying the ride back up. I agree there are not currently any direct competitors but I would not count out Cybermedia, Norton or Touchstone. These companies could adapt their products to perform similar operations without a great deal of difficulty. To me the most compelling reasons to buy SYSF are its relationships with its customers. Selling Dell, Micron, NEC, etc. is no trivial achievement. Compound those relationships with the propietary knowledgebase and that is going to be tough to beat. Dell, etc are not going to switch to another company if they have already worked through the kinks with SYSF. The SYSWIZ benefits are compelling and when the revenue starts coming in this thing is going to be a cash cow. Take a look at the major investors and you will notice INTL. This relationship along with DEC, IBM, etc. will eventually propel their propietary edge. Another point, I think SYSF should develop a retail product. This will help the Mfg by creating brand identity and value association. Products from Cybermedia and Norton aren't doing to bad either.
