I agree with you that the current run-up in MSFT has about reached its top. Sold a boat load of covered calls today. I love this stock!

I quite agree with you. I love this stock but it is going up so fast, it isnt giving itself time to get a strong base. I'm afraid many going in are only in for short term gains and will rush to get out. But maybe not, look at the pricing in Jan '97 after the last split.
But it is funny that people think 80 is less than 160. Also people who want 100 shares and dont buy it until it splits forget that they could have bought 50 shares before the run up (thats what I did) and they will still have their 100 after the stock splits!!!!!
Anyway in the long run, it will go up to 100 this year some time and stay there so we longs dont really have to worry even if there are some down days.
GO MICROSOFT, (but calm down a little for a few weeks)
