Pocotrader, here in Silicon Valley, I've noticed a trend of "stealth layoffs" here.

Google, for example, is asking some of its employees to accept voluntary severance packages:

Google layoffs: Google offers voluntary exit to US staff, including search and ad teams (The Economic Times)

I haven't noticed any layoffs at Apple or nVidia, however.

AMD is trying to reduce their workforce by 4% over this year. Meta by 5%.

Intel is Intel. They're still cutting people left and right.

All of these seem to track with trends in the markets, all caused by Trump's chaotic tariff policies.

And even when the TACO Supreme Commander does what he does best, which is to chicken out, the uncertainty will remain. You never know when the Orange TACO is going to do another crazy thing like deport a major CEO of a tech company simply because he doesn't like what the CEO has to say about anything.

One more thing. Every CEO knows what happened to Jack Ma and how he was forced out of Alibaba. Trump is intent on doing the same thing to America's CEOs that fall out of line with his extremist agenda.
