Thank you for your response to my question as to how BAY will benefit from the huge investment in deploying fibre optic cable. I agree that BAY, along with other network equipment companies, will benefit as the network grows larger. I am a Bay investor and am long on Bay. I stuck with the stock during the recent decline during December. However, I do wish to invest in a networking stock which will directly benefit from the millions of dollars being spent by the telcos in deploying cable. The BARS report points out that for every dollar spent on cable deployment, about another dollar will be spent for network equipment deployment such as the Ascend 550 core switch, the Newbridge 190 and the Cisco GSR which will be installed at both ends of the pipe.. Does BAY have a product which competes directly with this network equipment?
