Integrate all you want at that level, there's still no such thing as a prepackaged plant. Dell makes plenty of computers "integrated" with all kinds of software, but most businesses still need consulting help in integrating all of these computers into a cohesive IS structure. The latter cannot be prepackaged, obviously, as business needs vary widely. Same for the factory floor.

If Siebe had announced the creation of a new factory-floor consulting division based on their and Wonderware's offerings, you might have a point Skeptic. As it is, I don't think it's fair to characterize this as competition.
