Arnie, from a lurker who used to work for moto, you are right on with your assessment of no bad cross-polination. Even though it's been a few years and divisions have been restructured, I'm pretty sure that iDEN still comes from their comm sector (ie what used to be trunked radio). The problems reported today are with cellular. Different divisions, different mgmt, different marketing and sales, different engineers. In some respects, might as well be two separate companies.

Arnie, I hope you're right about MOT. Still, good business practice dictates that you should not be totally dependent on any one supplier for anything! (You know "All your eggs in one basket"). Of course, with their large ownership in NXTL, one hopes that their vested interest in NXTL's success will keep induce them to keep supplying NXTL with quality, quantity(timely) and not to be forgotten, competitively priced phones.

Bernie
ps: Believe it or not I have done very well in the past with MOT stock.
Sold my last share on 7/16/97 for 89 7/8 (talk about luck!).
