Burt - In regard to your post concerning the DEC hiring freeze and expense cuts - I think it's simply the first step in the coming changes due to the Compaq buyout, and not a sign of any recent weakness in regard to DEC's business. I suspect you will be hearing much about further streamlining when Eckhard Pfeiffer presents his strategic plan for the merger once the 'quiet period' passes....
