If you think about it, it's not dissimilar to indentured servitude...which at least had an exit price until Johnson (black) and Castor (black) codified slavery in the US in something like 1655.... These kids also have a debt to be paid to the cartels for "safe" transport .....what an oxymoron. Slavery is still alive and well..
