It's a pointless argument with the Trump cult. I once gave him a 2 minute read of just the facts on CO2 emissions in the atmosphere. No commentary, just pure scientific facts. He said he wouldn't read it because his thoughts on global warming are based on his beliefs and not facts, thus he couldn't refute the facts I presented him with. They've basically said they will only accept the reality of the problem of human induced climate change if Daddy tells them its real. When someone from the cult tells them there's a deep state controlling the weather they believe it without question. When presented with facts they fall back on faith based reasoning and an idolatrous worship if their Daddy, Donald Trump.

The number of these events is on the rise - the great die off is a damn good model for what happens when cO2 reaches a high level - and we have a die off happening across the globe over the last 50 years .... There is no evidence we have a "die off" happening today. We do have a fundamental change in the reproduction rates which pose a threat to the future. If you need something to lose sleep over, that would be a better focus point.
