That interview is very thoughtful and interesting. It's also 150 minutes long. Normally I listen to these at 2x speed but with his I listen at 1.5-1.6x speed. In the grand scheme the Epstein part is maybe the least interesting for what he has to say because he's been saying the same thing about him for years for anyone that cared to listen. Modern physics has sold the public on bunk theories like string theory and other circle jerks going back many decades. Why? Also where does the late James Simons fit into this? You know, the brilliant mathematician that ended up running the greatest performing hedge fund, at scale, in the history of the world, that we know of. And his funding of research out there at Stony Brook University, part of the SUNY system.
