I think that anyone with a long range vision for Ciena would agree with you. But the selling pressure caused by the exodus coupled with relative lack of buyers will be tough on Ciena short to intermediate term.

What is your definition of a conservative value investor? Sounds like conservative value investors can't invest in LU, DELL, KO, GE, G, PG, LLY, PFE, MRK, TLAB,CSCO, INTC, CPQ, and most of the other stocks in the S&P 500. None of those are "cheap" either.

I think conservative value investors are likely NOT buying these stocks and are probably at a loss what to do with their money. The market is flat out overvalued, most of us would agree. Warren Buffet has stated that he has had difficulty identifying attractive stocks, and has been buying a lot of bonds and silver.
