enigma, negative. Barrick is footing the bill, and have made all the property payments. We have sweated each payment. Especially the last one because it was over three million by my recollection.

This is partly why I can't see them pulling stakes. If current thinking is that Diablillos is a little small, why haven't they drilled more aggressively? All the infill drilling is nice but why infill a small deposit. Wouldn't they try to define a larger deposit?

For instance..Laderas is one of six other known zones on Diablillos. Before Barrick kisses $10,000,000 goodbye...wouldn't they at least drill Laderas? We have all been speculating that the reason they haven't is that they didn't want to prove up more au/ag and thereby drive the selling price higher. Fair enough. But does it then make sense that having held back on drilling other prospective zones (for strategic reasons) they would then pack up their drills and go home?

Assuming Barrick will make a reasonable decision...does walking away from Diablillos at this point make sense? I think it would make more sense try to steal it from PFG and then resell it..when they have a total picture of what's there and whether it meets their requirements.

(Of course with the scarcity of information it has to be admitted that Barrick may have already drilled other zones & hasn't found it necessary to report the results yet.)

If it weren't for Quinns' astute & generally correct anticipation of whats going to happen when, I don't think there's much here to cause anyone to think that anything other than same-o same-o is going to happen in the next few months. Probably wrong again.
