Doug, my point was not that VTSS is into SiGe -- it isn't. My point was that advanced communications technology afforded VTSS a P/E of 50.

Now, SiGe (ATML) is "more advanced" (better, cheaper) than GaAs (VTSS) so I will let you draw your own conclusions on future movements of the fortunes of VTSS and ATML...and the stock prices.

Doug,

Does ATML do any communications type chips? I'm scratching my head trying to think how Temic integrates into ATML. Although they both have some ASIC business, Temic strikes me as coming from the analog side of the world and Atmel from the memory side. Granted that SiGe is a hot technology, how does it fit?
