Neil, I can only hazard a guess as to why, and her name is Brenda. Didn't she come from DEC? Maybe she had some "pull" leftover. You know though, I can't imagine why DEC wanted a limiting Class 2-3 switch for StorageWorks. The problem with data verification across Class 2 and Class 3 has been documented. But then again, DEC hasn't been known for its foresight. Perhaps Compaq can correct DEC's myopia. Douglas P.S. - The Arcxel homepage now kicks you out to Vixel's homepage. That was quick!
