Auction Update

During two rounds of bidding this afternoon (rounds 12 and 13), only two of the top markets I've been giving information on here received bids; Denver got a bid of $19.132M from BTA Assoc in round 13, who overbid ALTA Wireless who had bid in round 12. Denver is currrently bid at $9.22 per pop. The other market was Las Vegas, which got a bid of $6.331M from US West in round 12. Mario didn't overbid in round 13. Vegas is currently at $7.39 per pop. WinStar took the lead for Salt Lake City with a bid of $3.78 per pop.

Wichita Kansas is currently bid at $4.19 per pop. Now compare this along with SLC, Denver and Vegas to;
DC, Atl, Bos, Dal, Miami, Chic, which are still only getting $2.25 per pop (which was minimum opening bid).
LA and Seattle which are only bid $2.48
Philly which is only bid $2.70
San Fran at $3.49

Who would have ever thought Wichita Kansas could go for more than Chicago, LA, or San Francisco? Looks like auction has a long way to go.
