Re: City Office REIT Inc (CIO)

Looks like a "Buy Under" was approved at $7/share

City Office REIT stockholders approve merger

  • City Office REIT (NYSE: NYSE: CIO) announced on Thursday that the stockholders approved the merger pursuant to which all the issued and outstanding shares will be acquired by MCME Carell Holdings, LP, and MCME Carell Merger Sub, LLC.
  • The merger will remain subject to fulfillment of all closing conditions and is anticipated to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025. At closing, holders of the company will receive $7.0 per share in cash.
My avg cost was $9/share so I get 78% of my cost basis back but did receive dividends from 2016 which equal $2.70/share over 9 years
