Privately, thanks for your response. Yes, I can see my question was not clear. I placed an order for 1500 shares I checked market depth there was .04 cent spread between best bid and ask several thousand shares available on both sides and plenty of shares available behind both bid and ask. About 10 minutes after I placed the order I got a fill for 1 share, it just seemed odd to me that there was a sell order for 1 share hanging out there. yes I have had partial fills before , depending on the price. I typically buy 1000 to 1500 shares and it’s not unusual to get 50, 100 or 200 share partial fills and the 1 share fill seemed odd. That’s what made me wonder if there was some trading strategy behind that move. Thanks again for your response
