Iomega would need to see a tremendous (even for them) top-line increase to hit $0.68 EPS in 1998 with the $100 million advertising campaign. I would discount any estimates that high. I'm currently expecting $0.49 this year (0.08, 0.10, 0.13, 0.18) on $3.1 billion in revenue and 18.4 million Zip drives.

Brendan,

I think your earnings estimate might be on the low end. The Zip
drive is becoming ubiquitous...the earnings from royalties and
license fees could be tremendous. I think this stock could perhaps
double this year and again the next. Have you ever seen the earnings
of the Gillette company? It is the same economic trend...expensive
razor blades.
